This is a thick, spicy tomato soup that is great on winter days. The recipe is from Martha, but it's an older one so
you can find it online. It relies on canned crushed tomatoes, which are one of the great, reliable sources of tomato flavor, even in summertime - and pureed chick peas for body without cream. Don't skip the dollop sour cream, it is very nice. I will be eating this again soon.
